In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

The series formerly showcased a 2020 collaborative story linking Assassin's Creed: Valhalla with Makoto Yukimura's Vinland Saga.
